Instead of outsourcing to third parties, over the past 30 years we have made significant investments into our own state-of-the-art sports nutrition facility.

This facility is 100% owned and operated by our parent company Noumi Limited and contains some of the most advanced manufacturing and logistics technology. In addition, it is regularly audited by Australian and international organisations, along with holding various manufacturing and quality certifications including HACCP Australia Foods Safety Accreditation Systems.

By focusing on raw material testing, accredited laboratories and continuous monitoring, we ensure every product meets the highest Australian standards from ingredient to finished scoop.

PURITY TESTING OF INGREDIENTS

NATA accredited & independently tested

We thoroughly test all ingredients for purity at the raw material stage, where verification is most accurate and meaningful in reducing risk. With our large ingredient volumes, testing twice a year provides the right balance of frequency and accuracy to ensure ongoing ingredient integrity across our supply chain. Our screening covers a wide range of key materials, including whey protein concentrate, whey protein isolate, dairy proteins, micellar casein, clear whey isolate, creatine monohydrate, cocoa, coffee and cinnamon. In addition, plant based ingredients including cocoa, coffee and cinnamon, undergo agricultural residue testing, providing added assurance for naturally derived ingredients. This approach ensures every ingredient meets strict Australian safety and quality expectations before it enters any Uprotein product.

MICROBIOLOGICAL & PATHOGEN TESTING

We run an extensive microbiological program that thoroughly tests for pathogens across all milk based ingredients.

This includes regular interval testing and a full microbiological assessment on different products each month, giving us continuous visibility across the range and ensuring product safety year round.

GLUTEN TESTING

Nutrition you need without compromising your diet

While we do not use or store gluten in our facilities, we still test gluten-free claimed products annually, supported by Certificates of Analysis.

This ensures our processes and ingredients consistently meet gluten free requirements for customers with dietary sensitivities.

INDEPENDENT TESTING & ACCREDITATION

All testing is completed by independent, external NATA accredited laboratories using internationally recognised ISO/IEC 17025 methods.

These Australian labs undergo routine audits to maintain their accreditation and operate with complete impartiality, ensuring accurate, unbiased results for every test we commission.
